How It Works
PLAYshops are fun, experiential & highly impactful! This FUN team-building workshop can take place right in your office or at any locally scheduled event, conference, retreat, etc. All materials are provided and teams of 8-200+ can be accommodated. There are 2 components to get your team laughing & connecting in ways you never though possible!

We have overloaded this session with interactive game-show components (music, sound effects, props, awards/prizes) so that the fun is maximized! Oh that and all of our facilitators are improv-trained and bring forth the hilarity as the PLAYshop game-show hosts!
RECESS ' Game Show' PLAYshop Outline
Intro: Guess that Tune (pre)
Opening Activity: 5 Year Celebrations + Silent Ovations
Virtual Scavenger Hunt [Whole Group] - 10 seconds to find things in different categories. Spotlight most unique/hilarious and share with group. Ex. Find something that....Makes you smile, from a different country, represents 2022, etc. Trophies: Best/Unique
Red/Green/InBetween [Whole Group] - Using red/green objects, ‘place’ yourself on various topics (Love/Hate Winter, Early Riser/Night Owl, By Book/Rule Breaker, etc)
Follow Me Party [Whole Group] - Using upbeat songs ( e.g ‘Party Rock Anthem’), a rotating follow-the-leader energy booster! Spotlight participants for 2-3 seconds of movement as everyone else follows. Trophies: Best moves. Most enthusiastic
5 Things [Groups of 5] - 3 Rounds. High energy/positivity game! They get a topic and say the first 5 things that come to mind. The group cheers them on no matter what (ie. 1! 2,!, 3!,etc). Alphabetical – get through as many ppl as possible. Fun topics (e.g 5 Things awesome about WFH, 5 things on my bucket list, 5 book titles I’d write to change the world, etc). Trophies: First team back, best ones (polls).
Island Fun [Groups of 5] - Sent to a strange island for a secret experiment. Everyone shares 3 Things they would take with them representative of who they are and share why. After everyone’s shared there’s a plot twist and must escape the island. They must create an Epic Hollywood Getaway using ALL the objects they brought. Trophies: Most Epic Plans!
Story Builders [Groups of 4] - You build a story 1 sentence at a time along with positive reinforcement. The title of story is given prior to starting (e.g ‘The most Epic Day!’). Trophies: Most epic story!
Impressive Tower [Whole Group] - Mission Impossible Theme. Build a tower with anything around you. Not tallest, but most impressive (unique materials, most colorful, creative,etc). ‘Sports commentating’ and spotlighting throughout. Trophies: Most impressive towers.
Group Draw/QuinTriplets [Groups of 5] - Find as many things in common with your group as possible. Stranger the better. Then: Create a group mural on a virtual whiteboard, themed around what you found out previous round. Art masterpieces are then shared with a larger group! Trophies: Most unique, highest #, Best Drawing
Playful Finale*:
Rock N Rolla: [Whole Group] Each person picks an instrument and rocks out to a 'secret' tune. Each introduced at one time. Gets filmed & is hilarious! Trophies: Most rocking – group & individual
Wrap Up: All Playshops include a Recap, Takeaways, and HomePlay!
