Why Teams Need to Undergo Resilience Training

Organizations face many changes and challenges throughout the year. Teams must adapt, recover, and thrive despite all the pressure to become more competitive.

Resilience training prepares employees with the skills they need to manage stress, deal with adversity and uncertainty, and be more productive.

Here’s why this training is a must for all teams:

Enhances Mental Health and Well-Being
When workplace stress takes a toll on employees, they get burnt out and perform less. Resilience training gives them tools to strengthen their mental health, address their own needs, and think positive thoughts to handle workplace pressure well.
Develops Strategies for Managing Psychological Stress
Most employees get stressed with high workloads, unexpected problems, and tight deadlines. Resilient teams develop strategies so everyone can focus and be productive even under intense pressure. These include: • Engaging in physical activity for mental clarity and reduced muscle tension. • Identifying stress triggers and responses. • Boosting resilience by goal setting and embracing changes.
Strengthens Problem-Solving and Adaptability
Resilience means confidently facing new challenges. Teams with resilient minds stay calm, think strategically and critically, and adapt to changing environments. They can solve problems better, face uncertainties without faltering, and decide ahead.
Mitigates Trauma and Promotes Recovery
Layoffs, crises, and leadership changes are overwhelming and traumatic. Mitigating trauma is essential in resilience training so employees can recover after every setback. It provides them with: • A mental health professional who offers guidance and support. • Techniques to regain emotional balance • Open communication and peer support for a better emotional state
Cultivates Positive Emotions and a Growth Mindset
Resilience training encourages gratitude, self-reflection, and continuous growth. It helps employees treat challenges as learning opportunities. Incorporating resilience training into teams can help foster better employees. Book our experiential resiliency workshop TODAY!

Luis & team brought their A-game into our Teamwork PLAYshop! Their captivating facilitation effortlessly led our inter-departmental group of 25 to be open, engaged, and comfortably vulnerable with one another. Through PLAY and thoughtful discussion, we had the opportunity to connect and relate to one another on a level deeper than that which the workplace environment can normally offer. The interactive 4-hour engagement session enlightened the AEO Canada team with both theoretical and experiential understanding of the crucial role that POSITIVITY and TEAMWORK play in our achievement of organizational goals, as well as on an individual level within our personal lives.

After spending a session with Luis, I can fully say that I am an advocate for his program as well as Luis himself as a well-seasoned facilitator. I have many years of public speaking and facilitating experience and it is not the easiest thing to do. To capture the attention and engagement of adult participants can be hard. Luis engaged our group quickly and kept a comfortable and intriguing pace that kept our attention the whole time. Lots of interaction and group participation. I highly recommend Luis and his organization!
