Big Idea: Diving in and making choices. Seek in the wrong places. External vs. Internal. Starts with YOU!

MY STORY:

Content: The rise, the fall, blank slate, the reinvention. The lessons: align values. connection & play.

Discussion: Our stories are important and we help write them. What story will you create for yourself?

KEY 1:
Live Your Values

Content: Values and Importance. Know Them, live them. Alignment (‘Authenticity Gap’) What you can do about it (doesn’t have to be drastic: convo’s, influencing culture, help create solutions/change)

Discussion: What are your core values? Are you living in alignment? What can you change?

KEY 2:
Connect & Engage

Content: Relationships & happiness. Valuable Interactions (Quantity, Quality). Psychological Safety: Communication (listen with intention, non-verbal, empathy, thoughtful action/respect). Listen-Loop-Dip.

Discussion: What can you do on your team to create more engagement (quantity/quality)? Which of the 4 keys can you focus on to improve communicating at work?

KEY 3:
Add Play

Content: What is Play? Benefits. Flow. Leading through strengths, Celebrate the journey.

Discussion: What does ‘play’ mean to you? How can you incorporate it more into your work/home life? What are your strengths and how can you apply them to your team in innovative ways?

They came to our workplace, “Muskoka Retreat Centre” and created such a fun, positive, and encouraging atmosphere for everyone. It was a great opportunity for us to get to know each other better and grow closer as a team. The whole session was filled with laughter, positive energy, encouragement and what I would call a real “happy virus” spreading through the room. Everyone was cheering each other on and leaving with smiles. Through sharing with one another, we even had moments of heartfelt emotion and tears. We’re a fully remote team of 72 with tons of new team members and we wanted an activity that. Let people interact and connect with as many people as possible, while doing some skill building and having fun and wow did they deliver!! The facilitator Philip was awesome at getting everyone engaged and we’re a big rowdy group but he kept us moving focussed when we needed to be and having fun all along. I also loved the way as you were having funny, they also share the research to back up what we were doing and why it’s important. If you’re looking for a team activity that can get everyone engaged and have some fun while learning this is it!
