In this half day - full day PLAYshop, teams will come up with 'blow-the-socks-off' ideas and plans that will turn their customers into instantaneous raving fans. The point is to level up your customer experience journey to a height that your competition CAN'T TOUCH.

This PLAYshop can also be alternatively focused internally (to WOW employees)

How It Works

WOW Factory is a game changer for teams that are focused on their customers! Through experiential activities, facilitated conversations and a wacky ideation session, participants will dive deep into their customer's journey & come away with concrete WOW ideas and implementation plans!

This fun WOW Factory PLAYshop can take place right in your office or at any locally scheduled event, conference, retreat, etc. All materials provided and teams of 8-50 can be accommodated. There are 3 components in creating a WOW team culture that will blow your customers away:

  • 1) Discovery - A pre-assessment to collect key information used in the WOWshop and draw out the customer process and key success metrics.
  • 2) WOW Factory PLAYshop Half day - Full Day experiential PLAYshop to come up with WOW ideas that will be game changers for your customers and industry. Including a final WOW Tank pitch competition! (full day only)
  • 3) WOW - To deliver on the promise of creating WOW experiences for clients, we check in on the process and monitor stats.

Intro: FOP Intro, How We’ll Learn, Aha’s Woohoo’s & Huh’s.
Opening Activity: WOW Game

The AntiWOW-WOW Spectrum

Content - Expectations: Below (anti-wow), meeting (avg), and above (WOW). Examples & stories. The ‘Superiority Gap’. 3 Steps to WOW (understand baseline, plug holes, then exceed them).
Sample Games – Hot Sh*t Potato Game, Story Swaps, 5 Things
Discussion (Partners/Group Share) – Which expectation gaps need to be fixed? How can you do it quickly and efficiently?

Customer Journey
& Empathy Map

Content – 5 Possible Phases (Discovery, Purchase, Activate, Accomplish, After Care). Lens: Advocacy/Shareability. Empathy Map (Know, Feel, Do). Goal Walk + Customer Phase Insights

Discussion (Partners/Group Share) – What is the experience like for your customer in your stage and what are their needs/desires for more?

WOW-deation

Content – Exceeding Expectations, WOW Categories (Ease, Surprise & Delight, Personalization & Gratitude, VIP, Fun, Transparency), Ideation 101. Phase ideation with modifiers.
Sample Games - Flying Pig Game, Ideas to Throw Around, Ideation Buzzer Mayhem, Storytimez.
Discussion (Partners/Group Share) – Come up with WOW ideas for your customer phase

WOW Action Plan

Content – Narrowing down ideas with criteria. WOW Action Plan (Name, 5 W’s, metrics, and first steps). Creating a Pitch + Presentations.

Discussion (Partners/Group Share) – What is your phase’s WOW action plan for your chosen WOW?
